Don't mess with singer song writers

I remember Tom Paxton doing a similar song, but it was well before video.

In theses days of instant communication companies can not afford to treat customers in any way but good.

It would be nice if this went viral. Pass it on.

Ashville Open Mic Returns Thursday Night.

Following the lay off because of 4 July celebrations Ashville Open Stage will return this Thursday 9 July.

Message from Knot Fibb'n

Hi Fibb'n Fans!

First, a big "t'anks!" to the folks at the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering. We had a lovely time playing for you there...the Fraze is one of our favorite venues! No one melted, or even spontaneously combusted due to the heat, for which we are forever grateful!

Continuing our summer outdoor party, Knot Fibb'n is traveling to Versailles this Friday, July 10. No silly, not the grand French chateau where Marie Antoinette suggested everyone have dessert, but the Village of Versailles, Ohio -- located north of I-70 and west of I-75 in Darke County (or Co. Darke, if you're speakin' Irish). The Darke County Center for the Arts has presented an Artist series featuring outstanding performers for the past 30 years. We're very happy to get involved with the DCCA, and hope to have a fun crowd joining us Friday night. Show starts at 7pm, and the locale is the Fountain Square gazebo across the street from the Inn at Versailles, 21 W. Main Street downtown. We'll be jiggin' & jawin', and just having a good ol' time -- check out http://www.darkejournal.com/ for more info.

Hope to see you soon!

There is a lot going on in Bexley this month plus other events keep an eye on the calendar. Here is a sample from Mike Hale.

Message from Mike Hale

All right, here it is, get some rest! I've managed to plan your whole music week-end. And it's all ‘FREE'! All you have to do is show up.

Friday, July 10 in Bexley, Mayor John Brennan's Main St. Merchant Music Festival runs from 7-9 PM in front of Starbucks, 2450 E Main St.
At 7, the Hollow Bodies (with John Schomberg & Mike Powers) a 3 piece rock/pop band will take you back in time to the 50's and 60's.

Then at 8, Patti Ramsey & Mike Hale (both of Halfway Home) will present their particular slant on mix of country, bluegrass, folk, blues, rock and American roots music. Being much younger than the Hollow Bodies their music will be the 60's and later.
For more information, contact the mayor's office at 559-4210.FREE

Saturday, July 11, in Clintonville at Areopagitica Books (3510 North High St), from 7-9 PM, Teresa Schleifer and Charlie Flowers will be performing a blend of folk, blues & swing. This should be a wonderful show!
They are being supported by ‘We Will Play For Food' (Areo House Band) comprised of Brian Szuch, Maury Falkoff, Rebecca Stansbury and Mike Hale.
For more info call 614-268-5094. Also 'FREE' but Donations accepted for artists.

Sunday, July 12, 7 PM in Worthinton at the Village Green, Northwest quadrant of 161/High St. at 7 PM, Halfway Home will be playing the Worthington Family Concert on the Green. Bring folding chair or a picnic basket!
For more info call 436-2743.

Again All Free, kid friendly musical events so I hope to see you at one or all of them!
Mike
The calendar if full of information, there is no excuse to have nothing to go to.
