Katy Wumpus Hits Ashville

Katy Wumpus (Not sure of the spelling) paid a visit to Ashville Thursday night and blew the place away. Mike Powers sacrificed his set to allow them extra songs and what a good decision that was. The result was that Connie the owner of Papa Joe's Ashville booked them for May 8 for a 4 hour gig. (Photo): Katy Wumpus

John, dear heart....spelling just isn't your forte. (Cathy, not Kathy)

Oh, and it was just announced that our guest, Mary Hamilton is being awarded the National Storytelling Network's Circle of Excellence Award for lifetime achievement, to be presented at the Jonesborough Festival this October! Hope to see a full house to hear this great teller!
