A not to be missed for Folkies or Folk performers

A not to be missed for Folkies or Folk performers

There are a few major events during the year that should not be missed.

Bill Cohens 60s night is one of them. This is a must if you have not been.

The older people like myself remember the 60s, the not so old know about the 60s, the young can learn a lot about the 60s.

This will be my 4th year and I am looking forward to it. Bill narrates a slide show, sings folk songs of the day and relives the best era of the 20th century.

All for charity. With the economy as it it the food banks are inundated your help is needed.

The best is you can have a good laugh, sing and win prizes at the same time.

See you there folks.

Tellabration another not to be missed event.

Storytelling for grown ups is on the Sunday.

The old age tradition of storytelling is alive and going strong. Come along on Sunday and see for yourself. If you though storytelling was only for children then you are wrong. I can promise some great stories that will inspire you, amuse you and captivate you.

You will also meet some very nice people.
