"Better Days"

-"Better Days"- the new CD from Halfway Home

is now available. You will have chance to buy a copy on Saturday night at Areopagitica Bookstore at 3510 North High Street. It's about a block north of Oakland Park Ave. This is a good chance to be one of the first to purchase a future sort after CD. When they are the most sort after band in the country you will be able to say. "I knew them when they played for beer." Patti and Renilda

I had to work last Thursday up in Cleveland so the running of the Stagecoach Open Mic was left to Jeff Hartley and a very good job he did by the sound of it. He did have problems with one of the regulars, Bob being the known trouble maker that he is wanted to do a three hour set. Jeff got him into a step over leg lock and Bob and Ralf did four songs. They did not realize Jeff has a black belt in origami.

I took a trip down to the Stagecoach on Saturday night to listen to Sweet Sixteen a jazz based group that includes Thursday night sound man Dave Rainey. Yes they were as good as I was told they were. I am surprised this band are not getting more work up in Cow Town.

The Columbus Folk Music Society have been asked to hold a jam session at COSI in the new OSU/ NPR radio studio. You are all invited to join in the jam, or just be a listener. It will be a family evening with tours of the studio going on as we play. Seats are being provided for the visitors to sit and listen if they should desire. It is important that if you come you have a list of songs ready to play, or sing, when it is your turn. The format will be to go in order in a circle. Do not feel obliged to lead. If that is not your thing and you just want to play, no problem. Just let me know so that I do not call on you and embarrass you. Date.....29 June 2007Time....arrive 6:30 pm or as soon as you can play from....7pm - 9pm Please spread the word. This is a chance to get our music out to the public and playing there who knows what may happen. Contact me if you want to join us so I can give them numbers.

Stay Brilliant
